The Mitsubishi lancer evolution IX will always be at the pinnacle of raw performance, engineered to perfection from rally cross to time attack events. That’s what you will get right from the factory. It means business, no stanced, bagged or any performance hindrances, it is not manufactured that way.

Surely for Mr. Ray’s Evo 9 there’s no excuse for putting others at bay. Speaking of bay, this Evo 9 is freshly repainted with a custom Bayside Blue color, smooth.

Combining that with a variety of jdm goodness including a front lip, side skirt and a rear diffuser all from Voltex, please add the Do-Luck trunk and let’s throw in a pair of Ralliart side mirrors.

Simplicity speaks volumes.
With a very nice(borat accent) exterior like that, you have to have matching wheels. Shoes of choice you might ask? Well its no secret, a lovely set of 18×9.5 +22 Volk Racing RE30 Club Sport II.Wrapped with Toyo proxes T1 sport at 255/35/18.

As for suspension and body reinforcements Mr. Ray’s build consist of 4 Cusco chassis stiffening awesomeness that includes 6-point Roll Cage, a front brace combined with a front strut bar and a rear strut bar paired with a Whiteline rear sway bar, don’t forget the Beatrush floor bar. A set of FEAL coilover system stands ready to tackle the tasks at hand.With all four corners carving any terrain wet or dry Mr. Ray needs to tame his beast with set of Stoptech brake rotors and brake pads combine with a Brembo brake system for added stopping power.

The interior is fairly simple. A Works Bell quick release and a Works Bell short hub partnered with a Nardi Steering wheel.A Defi boost gauge and a HKS turbo timer makes sure that the turbo is well monitored. Accessories like the Tomei shift knob makes Mr. Ray feel through the gears and smashing on that Competition Stage two clutch while listening to music with a Pioneer App radio you know his a master of his craft.The Recaro factory seats were retained to match the Recaro Child seat in the rear for family trips and other outings, teach them young.

A Greddy Ti-C exhaust system to hear the 4g63T sing its songs to the masses.

I really enjoyed the time I spent with Mr. Ray’s Evo 9, I’d do it again at any given time.
